Hello! My name is Sam Bishop and I am an aspiring full stack web
application developer, currently living in West Michigan. I’m pursuing
a full stack certificate with Michigan State University and am
enjoying the fast pace course that I’m enrolled in.
In my free time, I am enjoying designing and building microcontrollers
for fun projects like automated chicken coop doors and environment
controllers. I’m excited about gaining the knowledge necessary to
propel me into the web developing workforce.
My initial experience as a developer came while trying to tackle a simple automation project for my home. I was programming micro controllers before I really knew what programming was. It took me by surprise that I could learn, process and teach others how to do the same. I quickly realized that I wanted to code more, but I wanted to develop web applications. I started with learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals after work online. Since then, I’ve pursued a full stack web developer program at Michigan State University which I’m currently attending. We’ve completed multiple group projects and I’ve taken a leadership role in many of them. HERE!
